You saw through it. Your life did not change.

The seeing was real. The thing nobody mentions is that a realisation does not automatically reorganise the structure it happened inside.

Two things are true at once and most teaching only holds one of them. The first: there is no separate self, the seeing is available now, and nothing has to be developed for it to be so. The second: the character still has a stage of development, and it kept the one it had. You can see through the self at ten in the morning and act from the same defended position at four in the afternoon, and no amount of returning to the seeing will address that, because the seeing was never the missing piece.

This is the ground this house works from. Non-dual realisation and developmental structure are two axes, not one ladder — and the confusion between them produces the whole familiar pattern: the profound opening, the flattening, the suspicion that you lost something, the search for a bigger opening. Nothing was lost. The other axis simply never got any attention.

What follows is written for somebody who is already past the argument about whether there is a self, and now has to live in a body, in a week, with other people.
