The Atelier

Eleven pictures

You say what they are of. The style is the house's — and the style is the whole reason they are worth having.

Every picture is made in one register: high frequency luxury biophilic minimalism. One woman, one plant, one gold object, warm weather, cream rather than white, and a shallow depth of field, every time. That is not an option on this page and it is not a setting anywhere behind it. It is fixed, which is why nothing comes back strange.

Four frames of every picture, always. The shutter hands back four and all four are yours. You are never asked how many you want, because four is not a quantity here — it is what a picture is.

What is sold

Eleven pictures
reading the book…
Eleven subjects, four frames of each.
One picture
reading the book…
One subject, four frames.

What they are of

A line each, in your own words. A room, an hour, a thing being done. Leave a line empty and the house fills it from its own standing terms rather than inventing one.

What arrives
An address of your own, where each picture appears as it is finished. A picture appears when all four of its frames do, never before — three quarters of a picture is not a picture, so there is no way to be handed one.
What is never asked of you
The register, the wardrobe, the light, the lens. Those are the house's and they do not vary. You bring the subject.
Where they are made
In the Atelier, which is the one shutter this house owns. Every frame lands in the same vault, joins the same rights book, and is written into the same usage ledger against your order — so what is yours is recorded as yours.
If the room is held
Your order is written down before anything else happens, and it stays written down. A shutter that is not lit today is a wait, not a loss.
